Global Dynamic Leadership Forum
This year, from the East Coast of the United States to A Coruña, Spain, to London, England, The Global Dynamic Leadership Forum brought out the whole range of human emotion and experience: laughter, surprise, confirmation, realignment, and puzzlement. This was a direct result of the insight and the learning provided during the Forum.
Everyone who attended was an executive leader, together with the rising executives they sponsored, drawn from a diverse cross‑section of industries:
What resulted in the room was a true sea of humanity: a gentle camaraderie among people meeting as individuals, connecting with warmth, and celebrating one another.
This connection was the ultimate highlight, extending beyond and complementing all that was taught.
The interest did not end when the day did.
Those who were there asked to go further. Those who could not be there asked to be included. So we are convening again, and this time on a virtual platform, so that the circle widens across the globe rather than closes.
We have asked TheProfessor to take the work deeper: further into the dynamics of perception, into dynamic conflict and team, and to expand the experience to those who could not attend the Forum in person. The Deep Dive Series moves into new territory: how leaders make decisions, where decision‑making goes ‘wrong,’ and what makes a decision effective.
By the time you make a decision, most of the deciding has already happened. It happens in what you notice, what you skip, and what you assume, and most of it happens without your knowing. This is where we will take a deep dive.
The Deep Dive Series will focus on the following:
- The Pitfalls of Decision‑Making: Where capable people reliably go ‘wrong,’ and how to catch it in yourself. What is already running beneath a decision before you know you are making one
- Deciding Effectively: Choosing under pressure, ambiguity and incomplete information, and living with what you chose
- Dynamic Conflict & Team: Conflict as material rather than threat, and what a group becomes when it decides together; navigating complex group environments
The foundation of Fontainian Dynamic Leadership refuses the split between the professional and the personal.
In the Deep Dive Series, you remain the subject. You are the topic. Nothing is settled in advance, because the material comes from what is alive in the room that day, and the room now spans the globe.
You will not spend the day as an audience. We will break into small groups to speak, to listen, and to get to know one another. There you will hear how other leaders are thinking, what they are carrying, and where they are looking for growth. Much of it will sound familiar. This recognition is part of the work.
Be prepared, again, to confront yourself, to challenge yourself, to be surprised by yourself and to be caught off guard. While you may be given some tools, the emphasis remains on the person holding them.
The climate is deliberate: safe, unthreatened, and free of judgment, so that you can inquire deeply and out loud, without fear of how it lands. That environment does not occur by accident. It is led, and it is held for every person in the room.
This environment of camaraderie provides global connectivity and valuable alliances, allowing you to connect, to share, and to foster new ideas. In these smaller groups you will:
- Get to know one another during team activities and explorations
- Break down silos and barriers
- Hear others’ thoughts and ideas firsthand
- Share challenges and identify opportunities for growth
Engaging with one another on this level provides a platform to connect across the globe, not just in a business context, but also through individual connections.
This is not simply about networking. More importantly, it is about building more powerful alliances across the globe. It is about helping people find ways to support one another, to celebrate one another’s successes, and to advance one another’s leadership development.
This is what the Global Dynamic Leadership Forum truly provides.
